Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto

Following several acts of vandalism and theft the Grotto at St Joseph's Cemetery has become dangerous. This reprsents a seroius Health & Safety risk to any visitors.  Over the last several years the Cemetery Board have been looking at ways to address this risk.

After reviewing all the options it has been decided that there is no choice but to demolish it. The Board is very mindful of the need to replace it.  Howver the cost of rebuilding it is prohibitive.

For this reason two new statue have been purchased and a new smaller area will be dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes. If anyone would like to make a donation please contact the office.
